American Cockroach
They can grow up to 25mm in length. It has a reddish brown color & single stripe on the head. These creatures love the taste of liquor. Therefore, they are frequently seen in drinking establishments or at home after party where beer, wine & alcohol was present. They have a life span of up to 1 & half years. Their incubation period is from 6 to 8 weeks.
German Cockroach
The German cockroach boast of a brownish or tan color, and 2 lighter stripes on the back of its head. They can grow up to lengths of 15mm. It is probably the fastest breeding among the cockroaches, giving birth to around 30 to 40 nymphs with an incubation period of 30 days. At this rate, one cockroach can multiply into 30,000 in a year’s time. They can live for around 6 months.
Oriental Cockroach
Among these 3, the Oriental cockroach is probably the biggest. It grows around 25mm in length. These critters are a dark brown or black color with a shiny body and move more slowly than the other cockroaches. They are sometimes known as the water bug considering that these creatures love damp, dark locations. They are potentially seen in cellars or damp mulch. Incubation can last two months with an average of 15 eggs hatching and; they can each live for up to 2 years.
